Parks and Recreation Department earns state marketing award

It's the APRD's 10th state or national honor in the last three years

The Arlington Parks and Recreation Department has been awarded the Texas Recreation and Parks Society (TRAPS) Promotional Marketing and Excellence Award, presented at the society’s state convention March 2 in Waco.

It’s the 10th state or national honor for the marketing team since 2015.  

The five-member APRD marketing team is responsible for management of the department website, six sub-sites, all graphic design, digital and print advertising efforts, email marketing, design and editing of the department’s Naturally Fun magazine, which is produced three times annually.

It also publishes a single-issue Summer Camp/Aquatics guide, along with producing photography and videography, text messaging, sponsorship fulfillment and special event promotions.
