A free family-friendly pop-up tour show from the makers of Sesame Street is making two stops in Arlington next weekend.

Sesame Street: F is for Friends, from Sesame Workshop and HBO, is a free limited-engagement mall tour that will feature a 15-minute show starring costumed Elmo and Abby Cadabby characters.

There will also be a meet-and-greet session with the characters, digital activity stations, photo opportunities including Cookie Monster’s new food truck, and more.

The first event will be held from 2-4:30 p.m. Friday, April 20, at the Southeast Branch of the Arlington Public Library, located at 900 S.E. Green Oaks Blvd.

Then the following day, Saturday, April 21, the live show will move to The Parks Mall at Arlington for three shows running from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The showtimes are scheduled to be at 11 a.m., 12:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m., and will be held in a staging area in the lower level adjacent to Nordstrom’s Rack and Dick’s Sporting Goods.
