Police searching for man who set victim on fire
A confrontation between three men in South Arlington led to one being set on fire
Arlington police are actively searching for a suspect who lit a man on fire during a confrontation.
The incident happened Wednesday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. The unidentified male suspect was driving a vehicle and had stopped in the 6400 block of Nicole Way in South Arlington.
Two men approached the driver and a confrontation ensued. The details of the confrontation are unclear. The driver threw an unknown flammable liquid on one of the men and set him on fire. A police spokesperson did not have any additional details to release.
The victim received burns to his chest and arms. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The severity of his burns is unknown at this time.
