Arlington woman killed in highway crash was possibly racing
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has identified the victim as a 29-year-old Arlington woman
A woman who was possibly racing another motorist died in a single-car crash Wednesday night.
Arlington police were called out to the 3500 block of East Interstate Highway 30 around 10:35 p.m. to investigate a fatal car crash.
Polly Grice, 29, of Arlington, was pronounced dead at the scene after she lost control of her four-door passenger vehicle and collided with a guardrail on the outside shoulder.
Witnesses told investigators Grice was traveling westbound at a “high rate of speed” before she lost control and crashed.
Investigators said they have not ruled out the possibility that Grice was attempting to race another motorist.
