Police probing fatal stabbing in North Central Arlington
The victim was found unresponsive in a parking lot on W. Randol Mill Road
Arlington police are investigating a stabbing on W. Randol Mill Road Friday that left one man dead.
Police officers responded to a call about an unresponsive man laying in a parking lot with an apparent stab wound in the 1700 block of W. Randol Mill Road.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators determined the victim had become involved in a physical altercation with another man after kicking over a water bottle.
Detectives are in the process of gathering evidence, any video that may have captured the offense, and interviewing all parties and witnesses.
Investigators have also currently identified a person of interest in the case and plan to conduct an interview with that individual.
The identity of the victim is being withheld, pending notification of next of kin by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
