The Texas Rangers announced a new multi-year partnership with ParkHub to handle parking at Globe Life Park, it was announced on Thursday.

ParkHub, a Dallas-based company specializing in innovative solutions for stadium and arena parking, has the first and only ProVenue Certified Solution parking platform. It will allow fans to purchase parking on a mobile device, or online from Tickets.com.

Fans will have the option of buying on-site parking through Prime, ParkHub's mobile point-of-site program.

“The Rangers will be the first Major League Baseball team to offer Apple Pay or Android Pay,” said ParkHub CEO George Baker. “We know that fans come wanting to spend their time with family or friends, and spend less time with parking.”

The construction of Texas Live! will necessitate changes in parking for the new season. With Lot A and part of Lot B occupied by construction work, 3,000 parking spots are now inactive.

Two new parking lots, Lot R, located south of Cowboys Way off of Stadium Drive, and Lot S, located at the corner of Road To Six Flags and Magic Mile, will open up 2,600 new parking spaces. In addition, Lot J, on Nolan Ryan Expressway, west of the ballpark, has been resurfaced and now has 300 additional spaces.

Parking will be $20 entering the lots this season, although fans can purchase General Parking for $18 online in advance. Premium Cash Parking can be obtained for $20 in advance online, and $25 at the gate.
